Out of Order FORMA VENTI Aurum Noir Introduced
A Refined Interpretation of the Jumping Hours Complication
Out of Order has unveiled the new FORMA VENTI Aurum Noir, a sophisticated evolution of its distinctive shaped watch collection that combines Art Deco influences, contemporary design, and a jumping hours complication in a highly accessible package.
As the latest addition to the FORMA family, the Aurum Noir introduces a more refined aesthetic through the use of gold PVD finishes, a richly textured black dial, and carefully considered details that elevate the collection while preserving its unique identity.
The result is a watch that blends mechanical intrigue, architectural design, and everyday practicality into a compact and distinctive timepiece.

The Evolution of the FORMA Collection
The FORMA line represents the creative side of Out of Order’s watchmaking philosophy, exploring unconventional case shapes and alternative ways of displaying time.
With the VENTI Aurum Noir, the Venetian brand continues its interpretation of the jumping hours complication while introducing a more mature and sophisticated visual language.

While maintaining strong links to Art Deco design, the watch presents time through a clean and geometric layout that feels modern and intuitive.
The combination of deep black surfaces and warm gold accents gives the Aurum Noir a stronger visual presence than previous versions, reinforcing its position as one of the most elegant models in the FORMA collection.
A Jumping Hours Display with Distinctive Character
At the heart of the FORMA VENTI Aurum Noir is its jumping hours complication.
Instead of using traditional hands for all indications, the watch displays the current hour through a rotating numbered disc visible through a dedicated aperture. Every sixty minutes, the disc advances instantaneously to the next hour.
Minutes and seconds are displayed separately through two semi-circular tracks, creating a unique visual composition that is both functional and instantly recognizable.

This unconventional display system draws inspiration from historic jumping hour watches while presenting the information in a contemporary and highly graphic manner.
During the night, the hour, minute, and second discs glow thanks to Super-LumiNova C3, ensuring excellent legibility and adding a striking luminous effect.
Art Deco Inspiration
The FORMA VENTI Aurum Noir is housed in a rectangular case crafted from 316L stainless steel with a gold PVD coating.
Measuring 30.5 mm by 32 mm with a thickness of just 10.6 mm, the watch offers compact proportions that should suit a wide variety of wrists.

One of the defining design features is the seamless integration between the side brancards and the lugs, creating a continuous silhouette that reinforces the watch’s architectural character.
The slim bezel frames the dial elegantly, while the sapphire crystal and four-screw caseback contribute to a robust construction suitable for daily wear.
Despite its solid build quality, the watch weighs just 67 grams, maintaining a comfortable presence on the wrist.
A Textured Black Dial with Gold Accents
The dial adopts a minimalist approach while incorporating a surprising level of detail.
Its deep matte black surface is decorated with Out of Order’s signature “Double Delta” CNC-guilloché pattern, creating subtle visual depth and texture.
Applied gold PVD indices mirror the geometric motif found across the dial, establishing a cohesive design language between the case and display.
The tone-on-tone OOO logo remains discreet, allowing the texture and jumping hours complication to take centre stage.
Super-LumiNova C3 enhances legibility in low-light conditions while preserving the clean appearance of the dial during the day.

Powered by the Seagull ST1721
Inside the FORMA VENTI Aurum Noir beats the automatic Seagull ST1721 movement.
Chosen for its reliability and slim architecture, the calibre incorporates the jumping hours complication while maintaining practical everyday specifications.
The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz), contains 20 jewels, and offers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.
According to Out of Order, the movement is selected and adjusted to meet the brand’s own FORMA specifications.
Italian Craftsmanship on the Wrist
Completing the watch is an integrated strap crafted from vegetable-tanned Italian bovine leather.
The strap tapers from 22 mm at the case to 18 mm at the deployant clasp, improving comfort while enhancing the elegant proportions of the watch.

The deployant clasp is manufactured from 316L stainless steel and finished with the same gold PVD coating as the case, creating a cohesive and premium appearance.
