AVI-8 and Peanuts are continuing their collaboration with the new HAWKER TYPHOON BALDWIN AUTOMATIC PEANUTS SNOOPY FLYING ACE LIMITED EDITION, a pilot-inspired automatic watch featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown and Woodstock together on the dial for the first time in an AVI-8 Snoopy edition.

The new AVI-8 Snoopy Flying Ace features a matte brass-coloured dial with applied cream indexes and a small-seconds counter. Designed to combine the appearance of a pilot’s instrument with the playful world of Peanuts, the watch also incorporates artwork that remains hidden until exposed to UV light.

The Peanuts Gang Takes Flight

The dial brings together Snoopy, Charlie Brown and Woodstock in a design inspired by the Flying Ace theme. The matte brass finish provides the backdrop for the cream-coloured indexes, while the small-seconds display reinforces the watch’s aviation-inspired layout.

One of the collection’s distinctive details is the hidden artwork, which can be revealed under UV light. The theme continues throughout the watch, including a crown decorated with a paw-print motif and a leather strap embossed with Peanuts artwork.

The exhibition caseback reveals another character-themed feature: a custom automatic rotor engraved with Snoopy. As the wearer moves their wrist, the rotor rotates with the movement, adding another reference to the character.

Automatic Movement And Pilot-Inspired Construction

The watch is housed in a 42mm stainless steel case measuring 13.7mm thick, with a 48mm lug-to-lug distance. A single-curve sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while water resistance is rated at 5 ATM.

Inside, the watch uses a Japanese Miyota automatic movement, identified in the supplied specifications as calibre M-MIY-8245. It features central hour and minute hands alongside a small-seconds display.

The new AVI-8 and Peanuts watch is scheduled to launch on 30 October 2026, with a recommended retail price of US$330.

Combining an aviation-inspired design, an automatic movement and details drawn from the Peanuts universe, the new edition continues AVI-8’s playful interpretation of the Flying Ace character.
