Tissot PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition Brings A New Dimension To The Collection
Tissot Expands Its PRX Line With A 44mm Skeletonised Model Developed With NBA Star Damian Lillard, Featuring A Hand-Wound Movement And A Pocket-Watch Conversion Kit.
Introducing the Tissot PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition, a new collaboration with the NBA star that takes the familiar PRX design in a more mechanical and personal direction. Combining a skeletonised dial, a hand-wound movement and a distinctive burgundy colour scheme, the new model also introduces an unusual accessory to the collection: a kit that allows the watch to be converted into a pocket watch.
Measuring 44mm in diameter, the stainless steel case makes this one of the largest PRX models to date. While retaining the collection’s recognisable integrated design and tapered profile, the increased proportions give the watch a more assertive presence on the wrist. The case features a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a transparent caseback bearing Damian Lillard’s signature and water resistance of 100 metres.

A Skeleton Display With Burgundy Accents
The openworked dial places the movement at the centre of the design, with its architecture visible through the skeletonised display. Burgundy tones frame the mechanism and continue across the watch’s visual details, creating a consistent look throughout the composition.
The special edition also incorporates personal references to Lillard. At the small-seconds display, positioned at 9 o’clock, the seconds hand takes inspiration from his monogram and features a gold-coloured finish. Faceted hour markers and hands coated with Super-LumiNova provide legibility in low-light conditions, balancing the decorative elements with practical functionality.

A Hand-Wound Movement For The PRX
One of the defining characteristics of this release is its manually wound mechanical movement, marking a departure from the automatic and quartz calibres commonly associated with the PRX collection.
The movement is based on the architecture of the ETA Unitas 6497 and operates at 18,800 vibrations per hour. Its power reserve is approximately 52 hours. With no automatic winding system, the watch requires regular winding by its wearer, adding a more direct interaction with the mechanics to the everyday experience.
The movement can also be admired from the reverse side through the exhibition caseback, where Damian Lillard’s signature provides another detail specific to this edition.

From The Basketball Court To The Wrist
The collaboration draws on Lillard’s childhood in East Oakland, California, where a plastic milk crate attached to a telephone pole served as an improvised basketball hoop. That memory is reflected in the texture of the burgundy rubber strap, whose crosshatched pattern recalls the makeshift equipment of his early playing days.
The watch is supplied with a second burgundy strap in leather, giving the wearer an alternative look. Both straps feature a quick-release system, making them easier to change.
Perhaps the most unexpected element of the set is the pocket-watch conversion kit. It allows the watch to be removed from its usual configuration and worn as a pocket watch, introducing a different way to use a design normally associated with an integrated sports-watch silhouette.

Price And Availability
The Tissot PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition is available with reference T137.405.17.371.00. Its European retail price is EUR 1,895, while the announced Swiss price is CHF 1,735.
By combining an openworked display and hand-wound mechanics with burgundy styling and personal details linked to Damian Lillard, Tissot gives the PRX a distinct identity within its own collection. The pocket-watch conversion kit further sets this edition apart, adding an unexpected dimension to the collaboration.
