CASIO Launches New EDIFICE EFK-200 Automatic Collection: Five Watches Inspired by Motorsport
Casio Expands Its Automatic Line-Up With Five New EDIFICE EFK-200 Models
Set to launch in July 2026, Casio EDIFICE EFK-200 automatic introduces five distinct references that share the same mechanical foundation but explore different materials, dial executions, and finishes. From forged carbon construction to gradient dials and gold-tone detailing, the EFK-200 series represents a more emotional and mechanical interpretation of EDIFICE’s “Speed & Intelligence” philosophy.

A New Mechanical Direction for EDIFICE
The EFK-200 collection represents a notable evolution for EDIFICE, a line historically defined by high-precision quartz chronographs and connected functionality. With this release, Casio shifts toward traditional mechanical watchmaking while preserving its strong automotive identity.
At the heart of each model is a Japanese automatic movement with manual winding capability and an approximate 42-hour power reserve. The movement is displayed through a transparent caseback, emphasizing the mechanical architecture and reinforcing the connection between engineering and horology.
Despite this mechanical transition, the collection retains EDIFICE’s sporty DNA with compact proportions, robust construction, sapphire crystal, and 10 bar water resistance.
Motorsport-Inspired Materials and Finishing
Each reference in the EFK-200 series explores a different expression of motorsport-inspired materials.
The standout model, the EFK-200XPB-1A, features forged carbon used in both the case and dial, creating a unique marbled pattern where no two pieces are identical. This material directly references high-performance automotive engineering and racing components.

All models share a unified 38 mm-class case design, offering compact wearability with a strong architectural presence.
Mechanical Performance and Everyday Usability
Each watch in the collection is powered by a 3-hand automatic movement with date display positioned at 3 o’clock. The sweeping seconds hand highlights the mechanical nature of the movement, while hacking seconds functionality improves time-setting precision.
The movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a balance between durability and everyday reliability. A sapphire crystal protects the dial across all references, ensuring scratch resistance and clarity.
With 10 bar water resistance, the EFK-200 series maintains EDIFICE’s practical sport-watch character, suitable for daily wear, driving, and urban environments.

The Five Models
The collection consists of five references, each offering a distinct visual identity while sharing the same technical base.
The EFK-200XPB-1A represents the most technical execution, using forged carbon for a highly distinctive and lightweight aesthetic. The EFK-200DG-5A focuses on luxury with its gold-tone case and warm dial tone, contrasting with the more sporty stainless steel variants.

The EFK-200D-2A introduces a refined blue gradient dial, while the EFK-200D-4A opts for a deeper red tone with a more aggressive visual presence.

The EFK-200CD-1A offers a balanced interpretation, combining a carbon-textured dial with a classic stainless steel sports watch profile.
Together, the five models form a cohesive collection that expands EDIFICE into mechanical watchmaking without losing its motorsport identity.
