Nubeo Tranquility Automatic Celebrates 60 Years Of Star Trek
Three limited-edition watches bring Vulcan, the U.S.S. Enterprise and Starfleet to the wrist.
NUBEO Tranquility Automatic Star Trek celebrates six decades of Star Trek, an officially licensed collection created for the franchise’s 60th anniversary.
Launching on September 4, 2026, the three-piece collection transforms the wrist into a miniature scene from the Star Trek universe. At the centre of the dial, the planet Vulcan appears suspended within the case, while a miniature U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 travels across the minute hand and a Starfleet delta marks the passing seconds.

Star Trek first appeared on television on September 8, 1966, a date now celebrated around the world as Star Trek Day. Six decades later, Nubeo turns the franchise’s spirit of exploration into a highly visual mechanical watch.

Vulcan At The Centre
The most striking element of the Tranquility Automatic is the three-dimensional representation of Vulcan, the arid Class M homeworld of Mr. Spock.
Created using 3D printing, the planet is positioned at the centre of the dial and held within NUBEO’s signature free-fall construction. The effect is designed to make Vulcan appear to float inside the case, giving the watch a distinctly three-dimensional character.
The dial rewards closer inspection. Applied indexes surround the central planet, while a printed chapter ring carries the inscriptions “NCC-1701” and “U.S.S. Enterprise”, reinforcing the connection to the Star Trek universe without overwhelming the main composition.
The Enterprise Takes Flight
The Star Trek theme continues through the watch’s indications.
A miniature U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 is mounted on the minute hand, creating the impression that the legendary starship is slowly orbiting the planet as time passes. The seconds hand carries a Starfleet delta, adding another recognisable element to the display.
Together, these details transform the passage of time into a small mechanical journey through the final frontier.
Rather than simply applying Star Trek graphics to an existing watch, Nubeo integrates the franchise into the architecture of the dial itself.

A Substantial 48mm Case
The Tranquility Automatic follows NUBEO’s bold approach to case design with a substantial 48mm two-tone stainless-steel case.
Measuring 56mm from lug to lug, the case is topped by a double-curve sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. A fixed bezel is finished in a variant-specific ion-plated colour, giving each version its own visual identity.
A screw-down crown and screw caseback contribute to the watch’s 10 ATM water resistance, while the substantial dimensions reinforce the futuristic character of the collection.

Three Star Trek Variants
The NUBEO Tranquility Automatic Star Trek 60th Anniversary Limited Edition is offered in three variants: Admiral Red, Cadet Yellow and Guardian Blue.
Each colourway is individually numbered and strictly limited to 150 pieces, making a total of 450 watches across the three variants.
The colour treatment extends beyond the case. Each watch is paired with a matching FKM rubber strap and a steel buckle, creating a cohesive visual connection between the case and strap.

Miyota Automatic Movement
Behind the Star Trek-inspired exterior is a Japanese automatic movement.
The Miyota calibre M-MIY-8215-D3 powers the watch with self-winding operation, three hands and a date display. The movement can be viewed through the exhibition caseback, which also features a decorative U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 disc.
This creates a second Star Trek reference on the reverse side of the watch, ensuring that the theme continues even when the dial is not visible.

A Collector’s Edition For Star Trek Fans
Each watch is delivered in a rugged Star Trek-branded collector’s case featuring dedicated 60th-anniversary artwork and the franchise’s iconic opening narration.
The caseback engraving and packaging also carry the official Star Trek 60th anniversary marks, reinforcing the collection’s status as an officially licensed celebration rather than a simple themed watch.
The Tranquility Automatic Star Trek 60th Anniversary Limited Edition launches on September 4, 2026, with each variant limited to 150 individually numbered pieces.
For fans of the franchise, the appeal is straightforward: Vulcan floats at the centre of the dial, the Enterprise travels around it and Starfleet symbols complete the scene — turning a conventional time display into a miniature tribute to six decades of Star Trek.
