Favre Leuba Deep Raider Power Reserve Expands the Collection with Added Mechanical Depth
A new power reserve display, refined dial architecture, and 300-meter diving capability define the latest evolution of the Deep Raider collection.
Favre Leuba continues the expansion of its modern dive watch lineup with the introduction of the new Favre Leuba Deep Raider Power Reserve, a model that adds greater mechanical functionality to the Deep Raider Renaissance collection while preserving the robust character and distinctive design language that define the series.
Originally revived in 2024 as a contemporary reinterpretation of the historic 1964 Deep Blue diver, the Deep Raider collection has quickly become one of the central pillars of Favre Leuba’s modern renaissance. With the introduction of the Power Reserve edition, the collection evolves once again through a more technical dial layout that enhances both practicality and visual depth.

A Dial With Texture and Mechanical Interaction
One of the most distinctive aspects of the new Deep Raider Power Reserve is its dial architecture, which combines multiple finishing techniques to create a layered and highly functional appearance.

The central dial surface features a refined sunray finish that radiates outward from the center, producing dynamic light reflections across the dial depending on viewing angle. This effect is contrasted by two snailed sub-dials that introduce additional texture and visual separation.
Positioned at 9 o’clock is the small seconds display, while the power reserve indicator occupies the lower half of the dial at 6 o’clock. Together, these elements create a balanced and instrument-like symmetry that reinforces the watch’s technical identity.

At 3 o’clock, Favre Leuba integrates a distinctive vertical triple-figure date aperture framed by a raised metallic border, further contributing to the structured appearance of the dial.

The applied indexes and polished rhodium-plated hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® C1 X1 for improved low-light visibility, while the metallic framing around the sub-dials and date display adds depth and refinement throughout the composition.

The Deep Raider Power Reserve is available in five dial variations: white, black, green, blue, and ice blue.
Dive Watch Functionality
The stainless steel case retains the proportions introduced with the Deep Raider Renaissance collection, measuring 40 mm in diameter and 12.59 mm in thickness.
Its architecture combines brushed surfaces with polished chamfered edges, giving the watch a more refined appearance while maintaining the robustness expected from a professional dive watch.

A curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while the screw-down crown — featuring a deeply knurled texture for improved grip — helps guarantee water resistance up to 300 meters.
The unidirectional rotating bezel incorporates a ceramic insert with a luminous pip at 12 o’clock, ensuring clear dive-time readability underwater while reinforcing the collection’s tool-watch credentials.
Favre Leuba pairs the watch with an integrated stainless steel bracelet featuring alternating brushed and polished links. The bracelet includes a quick-change mechanism that allows easy strap swapping without tools, and remains fully compatible with the rubber straps from the broader Deep Raider Renaissance collection.

On the reverse side, the closed caseback features a chemically engraved medallion incorporating Favre Leuba’s historic emblem within a wave-inspired motif, accompanied by the inscription “Conquering Frontiers Since 1737.”
The FLP01 Calibre
Powering the Deep Raider Power Reserve is the automatic FLP01 calibre, based on the reliable Sellita SW279-1 platform.
The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), contains 26 jewels, and delivers approximately 41 hours of power reserve.
While the movement architecture itself remains focused on reliability and everyday practicality, the addition of the power reserve indicator introduces a more interactive mechanical experience, allowing the wearer to monitor the remaining autonomy of the watch directly from the dial.
This added functionality gives the Deep Raider Power Reserve a more technical personality compared to the standard three-hand Deep Raider models.

The Legacy of the Deep Raider
The Deep Raider lineage traces its roots back to 1964, when Favre Leuba introduced the original Deep Blue, one of the brand’s earliest purpose-built diving watches.
Over the decades, the Deep Raider identity became closely associated with functional Swiss dive watches built around durability and legibility. The modern Renaissance collection reintroduced this philosophy with updated case construction, modern materials, and improved movement technology while maintaining a strong connection to the original design DNA.

Since then, the collection has continued to expand through increasingly expressive variations, including stone dial editions in malachite and meteorite introduced in 2025.
According to CEO Patrik Hoffmann, the new Power Reserve model reinforces Favre Leuba’s commitment to “purposeful, performance-driven watchmaking” while adding additional mechanical complexity to the Deep Raider lineup.

A More Technical Direction for the Deep Raider Collection
With the Deep Raider Power Reserve, Favre Leuba continues refining its modern identity by expanding the functionality of one of its most important contemporary collections.
Rather than dramatically altering the established formula, the brand has introduced a more mechanically expressive interpretation of the Deep Raider while preserving the clarity, robustness, and diving capability that define the collection.
The result is a versatile modern dive watch that successfully combines heritage inspiration, practical engineering, and a more sophisticated display layout within a compact and wearable format.
