Dennison + Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection Revealed
A Bold Asymmetric Watch Collection Inspired by 1960s Design
The Dennison Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection introduces a daring new interpretation of asymmetric watch design, combining vintage inspiration with contemporary creativity in a limited-edition collaboration between Dennison and Collectability.
Following the success of their first collaborative release, the Dennison Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection returns with an even more experimental and sculptural design language. Created through the shared vision of Collectability founder John Reardon and renowned Swiss designer Emmanuel Gueit, the new collection explores the emotional and architectural side of watchmaking through highly unconventional asymmetrical forms.
Available exclusively through a one-week pre-order window from May 27 until June 3, the Dennison Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection will be produced in limited numbers and offered in four distinct variations across two different dial designs.

THE STORY BEHIND THE COLLECTION
The idea for the Dennison Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection reportedly began in Geneva during the fall of 2025, where a shared appreciation for 1960s asymmetric watches quickly evolved into a new collaborative concept.
Inspired by vintage experimental watch design, the project started with a simple sketch before being developed by Emmanuel Gueit into a fully realized watch architecture. Rather than following conventional symmetry, the design introduces a geometric asymmetrical opening within the familiar Dennison case shape, giving the watch a far more sculptural and dynamic personality.
The result is a design intended to create a completely different emotional interaction with time, where changing perspectives and visual imbalance become part of the wearing experience.
OBLIQUE ENIGMA DIAL DESIGN
One of the standout versions within the Dennison Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection is the Oblique Enigma dial.
Designed to feel playful and mysterious, the Enigma version combines multiple textures and colors within an asymmetric composition that appears to shift depending on viewing angle and light conditions.

The dial features a blue sunburst center framed by a diamond-cut metallic border, surrounded by a rich green outer section. Together, these elements create a layered visual effect that feels almost kinetic on the wrist.
Unlike traditional symmetrical watch dials, the Enigma design embraces imbalance and unconventional geometry, reinforcing the artistic direction of the collection.

OBLIQUE VECTOR DIAL DESIGN
The second execution of the Dennison Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection is the Oblique Vector dial.
This version adopts a cleaner and more graphic design language, featuring twelve lines radiating outward from the center of the dial to create a strong sense of movement and depth.
The gold PVD model features a warm gilt-style sunray finish paired with black contrasting lines, while the stainless steel version uses a silver sunray surface accented with blue detailing.
Compared to the more expressive Enigma dial, the Vector design feels slightly more restrained and futuristic while maintaining the collection’s signature asymmetrical identity.

EMMANUEL GUEIT’S DESIGN VISION
The visual identity of the Dennison Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection reflects Emmanuel Gueit’s long-standing fascination with unconventional watch architecture.
Rather than designing a conventional vintage-inspired watch, Gueit focused on tension, asymmetry, and emotional impact.
“For this next collaboration with Collectability, I really wanted to focus on the architecture of the watch and especially the asymmetrical opening of the dial,” explained Emmanuel Gueit. “For me, asymmetry creates tension, balance, and a completely different emotion on the wrist.”
That philosophy is visible throughout the collection, where geometry and proportions become the central visual focus instead of decorative excess.

ACCESSIBLE INDEPENDENT WATCH DESIGN
With the Dennison Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection, both brands continue to emphasize the idea that strong and original design should remain accessible.
According to John Reardon, the collection celebrates the emotional side of collecting and the excitement of discovering unconventional watches that feel different from mainstream offerings.

Dennison founder Toby Sutton also described the project as a collaboration driven by shared passion and authenticity, resulting in a watch that respects vintage inspiration while remaining highly original.
At a relatively accessible price point, the collection positions itself as a design-focused independent release rather than a traditional luxury watch.
