UNIMATIC x Tullio Abbate come together in a collaboration shaped by speed, precision and marine design. The result is a pair of watches that translate the language of high-performance boating into contemporary instruments defined by clarity, resistance and purposeful construction.

The project feels natural because both brands share the same disciplined approach to form. UNIMATIC is known for its utilitarian design language, while Tullio Abbate brings a world of reflex blue surfaces, technical materials and marine engineering. In both cases, every visual element is tied to function and stripped back to its essential role.

UNIMATIC x Tullio Abbate: Two Interpretations Of The Same Idea

The collaboration is expressed through two distinct watches. The Modello Uno U1-TAB is the more immediate and graphic interpretation, rooted in UNIMATIC’s professional diving format. The Modello Quattro U4S-C-TAB is darker, lighter and more architectural, offering a more compact and technically advanced reading of the same shared attitude.

Both watches reflect the same functional mindset, but they do so in different ways. One is driven by chromatic contrast and direct visual identity; the other focuses on material innovation and a stripped-back presence. Together, they form a coherent dialogue between watchmaking and marine performance.

Modello Uno U1-TAB

The Modello Uno U1-TAB is housed in a brushed 316L stainless steel case measuring 40 mm in diameter, or 41.5 mm with the bezel. It has a 49 mm lug-to-lug span and a thickness of 13.2 mm without the lens, or 14.4 mm including the crystal.

A 120-click unidirectional safety bezel frames a reflex blue aluminium insert marked with the Tullio Abbate number 5. The combination of matte white dial, reflex blue trims and bold legibility creates a strong visual link to the marine world. A 2.5 mm double-domed sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while Super-LumiNova® GL C3 ensures clear visibility in low light.

The hands are executed in reflex blue with a ladder phantom style for the hour, minute and seconds hands. A reverse lollipop seconds hand with a matte red tip adds a small but deliberate graphic accent. The result is a watch that feels functional, direct and unmistakably tied to Tullio Abbate’s visual universe.

Inside, the U1-TAB is powered by the automatic Seiko NH35A calibre. It offers hacking seconds, bidirectional automatic winding and hand-winding, and each watch is individually tested for accuracy and water resistance up to 300 metres.

Modello Quattro U4S-C-TAB

The Modello Quattro U4S-C-TAB takes a more compact and materially advanced approach. Its 40 mm case is executed in forged carbon with a matte finish, giving the watch a lighter feel and a more technical visual presence.

A fixed monoblock bezel and a Tullio Abbate number 5 screw-down caseback reinforce the model’s performance-driven identity. The case measures 49 mm lug to lug, with a thickness of 12.7 mm without the lens, or 13 mm including the crystal.

Above the dial sits a 2.8 mm flat sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating. The matte forged carbon dial base is trimmed in cool grey, while Super-LumiNova® GL C1 provides legibility. Matte black ladder phantom hands, together with a reverse lollipop seconds hand and matte red tip, reinforce the stripped-back and architectural character of the model.

The U4S-C-TAB is powered by the automatic Sellita SW200-1 b calibre, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It features hacking seconds and a power reserve of up to 41 hours. Like the U1-TAB, each example is individually tested for accuracy and water resistance up to 300 metres.

Shared Construction And Wearing Details

Both references share UNIMATIC’s signature 8 mm Alchemical Sun screw-down crown and drilled lugs with 22 mm strap compatibility. These functional details underline the utilitarian spirit of the collaboration and keep the focus on reliability and wearability.

The U1-TAB comes on a reflex blue TPU two-piece quick-release strap, with an additional cool grey nylon strap included. The U4S-C-TAB is fitted with a matte black TPU two-piece quick-release strap and matte forged carbon hardware signed UNIMATIC.

Each watch is delivered in the UNIMATIC x Tullio Abbate tough case with a warranty card bearing a unique ID seal. The packaging matches the performance-oriented character of the project and reinforces the limited-edition nature of both pieces.

Edition And Pricing

The Modello Uno U1-TAB is produced in a numbered limited edition of 200 pieces. The Modello Quattro U4S-C-TAB is produced in a numbered limited edition of 50 pieces.

Both watches launch on July 6th, 2026, and are available through UNIMATIC’s official website. The U1-TAB is priced at €660 ex. VAT, while the U4S-C-TAB is priced at €2,000 ex. VAT. Pre-orders run until July 31, 2026, with shipping scheduled from November 28, 2026.
