Chronoswiss Delphis Glacier Introduced
A Limited Edition Inspired By The Silent Beauty Of Alpine Ice
Chronoswiss has expanded its distinctive Delphis collection with the introduction of the new Chronoswiss Delphis Glacier, a limited-edition timepiece that draws inspiration from the serene beauty and enduring strength of alpine glaciers.
Combining lightweight titanium construction with the brand’s signature regulator-style display architecture, the latest Delphis interpretation transforms frozen landscapes into a highly mechanical work of horological art. Limited to just 50 pieces worldwide, the Delphis Glacier continues Chronoswiss’ tradition of blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.
With its monochromatic palette, hand-guilloché finishes, and sophisticated jumping-hour complication, the Delphis Glacier captures the quiet majesty of nature while showcasing the technical creativity that has defined the Delphis collection for decades.

A Titanium Case Inspired By Eternal Ice
The Chronoswiss Delphis Glacier is housed in a 42mm Grade 5 titanium case that reflects the purity and resilience of glacial formations.
The natural metallic finish of the titanium creates a subtle interplay of light across the case surfaces, while the polished bezel and signature fluted caseband provide a familiar Chronoswiss identity. Despite its substantial presence, the lightweight construction ensures excellent wearability on the wrist.
A domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while the sapphire caseback offers a view of the manufacture movement within. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres, adding a practical dimension to the highly artistic timepiece.
The watch is paired with a black rubber strap that further enhances its contemporary aesthetic and creates a striking contrast against the cool tones of the titanium case.

The Delphis Display Returns In Glacial Form
One of the defining characteristics of the Delphis collection is its unconventional method of displaying time, and the Glacier edition continues that tradition.
At 12 o’clock, a digital jumping-hour display is positioned beneath a silver galvanic upper dial. Below it, a central retrograde minute hand sweeps across a graduated scale before instantly returning to its starting position at the end of each hour.

The upper dial features a curved hand-guilloché pattern inspired by the textures and formations found within glacial ice. This intricate surface treatment creates a dynamic play of light that changes depending on the viewing angle.
At 6 o’clock, a distinctive curved subdial houses the small seconds display. Finished with a blue CVD coating and decorated with hand-guilloché work executed within the Chronoswiss Atelier in Lucerne, it introduces a subtle burst of colour that evokes the deep blue tones often visible within ancient ice formations.
Together, these elements create a sophisticated composition that balances visual complexity with excellent legibility.

Powered By The Manufacture Calibre C.6004
Beneath the elaborate dial architecture lies the Chronoswiss manufacture calibre C.6004.
The automatic movement powers the jumping-hour and retrograde-minute display while providing a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and fitted with 37 jewels, the calibre combines reliable performance with extensive decorative finishing.
The movement features a skeletonized tungsten rotor mounted on ball bearings, while polished screws, a ruthenium-plated bridge with Geneva stripes, and carefully finished escapement components demonstrate Chronoswiss’ commitment to traditional watchmaking craftsmanship.
Visible through the sapphire caseback, the calibre reinforces the mechanical character of the Delphis Glacier while complementing the artistic nature of the watch itself.

A Tribute To Nature And Independent Watchmaking
The Delphis Glacier represents more than simply another colour variation within the collection. Instead, it serves as a tribute to the timeless beauty of Swiss glaciers and the enduring appeal of traditional mechanical watchmaking.
By combining hand-guilloché craftsmanship, a unique time display, and a lightweight titanium case, Chronoswiss has created a watch that feels both contemporary and deeply rooted in horological tradition.
Limited to only 50 pieces, the Delphis Glacier offers collectors an opportunity to own one of the most distinctive interpretations of the Delphis concept to date.
