NOMOS Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer dark Brings World Time Into The Night
NOMOS Glashütte gives its travel watch a darker character, adding Super-LumiNova to the city ring and home-time display for the first time.
Travelling across time zones often means navigating unfamiliar places after dark. With the new Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer dark, NOMOS Glashütte takes that idea into the watch itself, giving its world time model an enamel-black dial designed to reveal more of its information as the light disappears.
The new reference 793 becomes the fourth version of the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer to join the NOMOS core collection. Rather than simply introducing a darker colourway, NOMOS has used the new dial to emphasise the legibility of the world time display, extending Super-LumiNova to elements that previously remained dark at night.

World Time In Dark Mode
The Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer is designed around a practical approach to travelling between time zones. Local time is displayed on the main dial, while the time at home remains visible through a dedicated 24-hour display at 3 o’clock. A pusher allows the wearer to change the local time, making the watch particularly suited to moving between cities.
For the dark version, the enamel-black dial creates a deep background for the off-white numerals and indexes. The hour markers and hands are treated with Super-LumiNova, while the city ring and home-time display now receive luminous treatment as well.

This is the first time that Super-LumiNova has been extended to these areas of the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer. The city ring and home-time indicator feature precisely formed luminous elements with a high concentration of Super-LumiNova pigments, allowing the world time information to remain visible in low-light conditions.
The result is a dial that changes character after dark. During the day, the glossy black surface provides a strong contrast for the typography and world time layout; at night, the luminous elements become an integral part of the display itself.

A 40mm Travel Watch
The Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer dark retains the practical proportions of the existing model, with a 40mm stainless-steel case and a height of just 9.9mm. For a mechanical world time watch, this remains a relatively restrained profile, while the screw-down crown and 10 ATM water resistance give it the robustness expected from the Club Sport line.
The case is topped by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. At the rear, a screwed sapphire crystal caseback exposes the movement, allowing the mechanical architecture and finishing to remain visible.
The watch is fitted with the Club Sport bracelet, equipped with quick-change spring bars. With a 20mm lug width, the bracelet reinforces the sporty character of the watch while keeping the overall design relatively clean.

The DUW 3202
At the heart of the Worldtimer dark is the DUW 3202, an in-house NOMOS neomatik calibre developed and produced in Glashütte. The movement combines automatic winding with the world time mechanism, 24-hour home-time display and day-and-night indication.
Measuring 31mm in diameter and 4.8mm in height, the calibre provides up to 42 hours of power reserve. Its architecture incorporates the NOMOS Swing System, a blue balance spring, a NOMOS balance bridge and a stop-seconds mechanism. The bidirectional winding rotor provides the automatic winding system with efficient energy transmission.
The movement is regulated using the NOMOS DUW regulation system and adjusted in six positions. It contains 37 jewels and uses tempered blue screws, while its rhodium-plated surfaces feature Glashütte ribbing and NOMOS perlage.
Through the sapphire caseback, these details give the Worldtimer dark a second visual identity. The front concentrates on the travelling function, while the back exposes the traditional finishing associated with NOMOS Glashütte.

World Time With A Different Atmosphere
The Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer dark does not introduce a new complication to the NOMOS collection. Its significance instead lies in how the existing world time architecture has been reworked for low-light readability.
The combination of an enamel-black dial, off-white luminous details and the newly illuminated city and home-time displays gives the Worldtimer a markedly different character from the other versions in the core collection.
With its 40mm stainless-steel case, 9.9mm height and automatic DUW 3202, the new reference 793 combines a relatively slim profile with a useful travel complication. It is a world time watch designed not only to show where you are, but to remain readable when the city around you has gone dark.
