Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167A-014 Brings Midnight Blue To Milan
A limited-edition Aquanaut combines a blue-to-black gradient dial with red accents for Patek Philippe’s Watch Art™ Grand Exhibition Milan 2026.
For the Watch Art™ Grand Exhibition Milan 2026, Patek Philippe gives its emblematic Aquanaut a distinctly darker expression. The new 5167A-014 retains the familiar stainless-steel architecture of the collection while introducing a sunburst blue dial with a black-gradient rim, red details and the characteristic embossed Aquanaut pattern.
Limited to 250 pieces, the watch brings together the everyday proportions and sporty character of the 5167A with a colour combination designed specifically for the Milan edition. The result remains unmistakably an Aquanaut, but the darker dial and red accents give this version a more pronounced visual identity.

Midnight Blue With Red Accents
The dial is the defining feature of the Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167A-014. Its sunburst blue surface gradually becomes black towards the outer edge, creating a gradient effect that gives the relatively restrained dial considerably more depth.
The familiar embossed Aquanaut pattern remains visible across the dial, while applied white-gold numerals and baton-style hands provide the main indications. Their white luminescent coating maintains legibility in low-light conditions.
Red appears on two of the watch’s most dynamic details: the printed minute scale around the perimeter and the varnished central seconds hand. Against the blue and black dial, these touches add a sharper contrast without changing the fundamentally sporty character of the Aquanaut.
The Aquanaut Formula
The 5167A-014 remains faithful to the straightforward configuration that has defined the modern Aquanaut 5167A. Hours, minutes, seconds and date are presented without the addition of a major complication, keeping the watch focused on legibility and everyday wear.
The stainless-steel case measures 40.8mm in diameter and only 8.1mm thick. A screw-down crown and sapphire crystal protect the movement and dial, while the watch offers water resistance to 30 metres.
At the back, the sapphire crystal carries the inscription “Patek Philippe Milano 2026”, clearly identifying the watch as part of the special edition created for the Milan exhibition.

Calibre 26-330 S C
Inside the case is Patek Philippe’s self-winding Calibre 26-330 S C, the modern-generation automatic movement used by the Aquanaut 5167A.
Measuring 27mm in diameter and approximately 3.3mm thick, the movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4Hz. It offers a power reserve of approximately 35 to 45 hours and incorporates a Gyromax balance with a Spiromax balance spring.
The central rotor is made from 21K gold, while the movement carries the Patek Philippe Seal. Through the sapphire caseback, the calibre remains visible beneath the Milan 2026 inscription.

A Matching Composite Strap
Patek Philippe pairs the darker dial with a midnight-blue composite strap embossed with the same Aquanaut pattern found on the dial. The integrated visual language between strap and dial is one of the defining characteristics of the collection.
A patented Patek Philippe fold-over clasp secures the watch to the wrist using four independent catches, maintaining the sporty construction while adding the security expected from the manufacture’s contemporary sports watches.
A Limited Aquanaut For Milan
The Aquanaut 5167A-014 is limited to 250 pieces and is created specifically for the Watch Art™ Grand Exhibition Milan 2026. Rather than altering the architecture of the collection, Patek Philippe focuses this edition on colour, texture and small details.
The combination of midnight blue, black and red gives the 5167A a more contemporary presence, while the familiar case, composite strap and Calibre 26-330 S C retain the formula that has made the Aquanaut one of Patek Philippe’s most recognisable sports watches.
